The glern are the only known sapient species to walk on all of their limbs most of the time. They still manage to run things quite well on their planet, though.

Description: They look sort of like horses, but they’re obviously not. Their six outward bowing legs have feet that look like a cross between chicken feet and hooves. Their front legs can act as arms and be used to manipulate things. Their two heads (attached to the body by two separate necks) are basically just long beaks with eyes on them. They have feathers, but these feathers look like dried-up glue splotches. They’re always walking on at least four of their legs. Their tail-feathers are longer than their other feathers and are somewhat prehensile.

Heads – The Glern have two heads each. One head is the main one that controls the body, while the other head is more of an advisor. Both heads can eat, breathe, and do other things that heads do. Whether it is necessary for both heads to eat and breathe or if it is only necessary for one head to eat and breathe is not yet known.
Genders – Each head has its own gender. The body’s gender is both heads’ genders together. Therefore, the glern effectively have four possible genders instead of two. Only the genders that are opposite of each other can procreate. To make up for that, the glern usually have more babies per pregnancy compared to other sapient species.
