Guide to Item Profiles

I usually put the general information about the creature in the space above the profile header. In an item profile, there can be quite a bit of information up here.

Profile1

Name: This is the proper name for the item.
Size: This is how large or small the item is.

Description: This is the item's physical description. This doesn't only include looks, but also includes things detected by smell, touch, and hearing. The item's taste usually isn't included, unless it's a food item.

Nicknames: These are other names that the item is called. Multiple nicknames are separated by commas.
Type: This is what kind of item it is.
Owner: This is who owns the item. Multiple owners are separated by commas. If the owners have their own pages, then those pages will be linked to from the owners' names. If the item isn't one of a kind, this field will also say that a bunch of other people that aren't mentioned here also own this item.
Availability: This is how rare or common the item is.
Producer: This is the name of the company or the person that produces this item. If the producers have their own pages, then those pages will be linked to from the producers names.

Advantages:
Here will be a bulleted list of the item's strong points. If the creature's advantages are "Unknown" or "None", then it will not be bulleted.

Disadvantages:
Here will be a bulleted list of the item's weak points. If the creature's disadvantages are "Unknown" or "None", then it will not be bulleted.

Attacks:
This is a list of the item's attacks that they use during battle. This list isn't necessarily comprehensive, however. The names of the attacks are underlined, and there is a dash before the explanation of what the attack is. Items that don't move on their own can't actually use these attacks by themselves; these attacks are instead used by the people using the item. Items that move on their own can use the attacks on their own.

History:
This is the item's history, which includes the item's origins (if known), notable things that have happened to the item, and notable things the item has done or was involved in doing. This field is hardly ever finished, though.

Developer’s Notes: I usually try to hide these on this site, but they sometimes sneak past me. This is basically where I talk to myself about the item's design.
