Photos & Image Manipulations

Any image that was taken with a camera (or some sort of screenshot tool) and unmessed with count as photos and will go here.

Any images where I've taken an existing image and edited it to make a new image count as image manipulations and will also go here. Needless to say, I have no claim over the existing images that I've used to make them.

I've decided to link to where the images are (usually one of my image galleries) instead of putting them on this site in order to save space.

If I used your work in any of these images and you don't want your work used in this manner, let me know and I'll take it off the list.

Frogmage Hates Avatar Changes Avatar	Image Manipulation?	RHJunior Forums	None	Frogmage didn't like avatar changes, so I changed my avatar to this for April Fools Day of 2008. The avatar itself is even nice enough to say this (except for the "April Fools" part).

No Lightbulbs Avatar	Image Manipulation	RHJunior Forums	I got the lightbulb image from a site called Network Marketing Journey. The "No" symbol was taken from Paint Shop Pro.	This is an image made for an avatar contest. I made this because the person this avatar is for seems to hate lightbulbs. I ended up not entering this image into the contest, though.

Soup Can Desecration	Image Manipulation	RHJunior Forums	The original painting was made by Andy Warhol.	This is a silly little image I made for a drawing contest, where the purpose was to draw an anthropomorphic version of a famous work of art. While this technically follows the rules, I don't think this is what the person who started the contest had in mind.

Your Honor!	Image Manipulation	RHJunior Forums	Phoenix Wright is copyright to Capcom. The image I used originally came from Gamespot.	This was made for Maulkin while he was in the hot seat of an avatar contest. It's an image of Phoenix Wright trying to find a contradiction. Since Maulkin calls himself the "Walking Contradiction", I thought this would be appropriate. Perhaps it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be, since it tied for second-to-last place with two votes.

Emoticon Manipulations

Here are the emoticon manipulations that I've done. If you have no idea what an emoticon is, then they're also called smilies. If you have no idea what a smiley is, then I can't help you. All of these count as image manipulations, by the way.

Massive Grin	RHJunior Forums	The original big grin smiley comes from phpBB forums.	This is the big grin smiley that comes standard on phpBB forums, except I added a ridiculously huge smile to it. Someone on the RHJunior forums said that they wanted an emoticon with a big grin, so I made and posted this as a joke.
My Eyes	RHJunior Forums	The original smiley comes from the RHJunior forums. I'm not sure who made the original smiley.	This is the "My Virgin Eyes" smiley at the RHJunior Forums, except with "Virgin" crossed out. There was a time when someone used the original smiley and I suggested edited a quote of their post to include this instead. The joke is that the person's eyes aren't actually virgins (or whatever). I'm not sure if that's actually true, though.
Smaller Grin (No Tooth Lines; Tooth Lines)	RHJunior Forums	The original big grin smiley comes from phpBB forums.	This is pretty much the same as the Massive Grin image above, except it has a smaller grin. The one without the tooth lines looks like the smiley was poking out of a diaper or a UFO, so I made another one with the tooth lines.

Half a Mata, Half a Kelsey	Image Manipulation	Crimson Tide Forums	I took the images off of Wikipedia.	Matahari made a request to Blondielass for an avatar. Blondielass's description of Matahari's avatar was "half a Mata, half a Kelsey". I decided to poke fun at the way it was worded by taking images (that I got from Wikipedia) of real people with those names and putting half of each in the same image. I also went ahead and labeled each half so the joke would be more obvious. In case it isn't obvious, this is an image manipulation.

Puzzle Pirates Card Game

There was an idea for a Puzzle Pirates trading card game on the Puzzle Pirates forums. It never got past the planning phase, but I still have the cards I made for it.

"Little Brother" Item Card	Image Manipulation	None	This card represents the way people would claim that "their little brother did it" whenever they got into trouble.
"Mass Mute" Event Card	Image Manipulation	None	This card represents muting (the act of preventing someone from speaking to you in-game) pretty much everyone at once.
"Mischat" Event Card	Image Manipulation	None	This card represents accidentally saying something in the wrong chat channel.
"Mute" Item Card	Image Manipulation	None	This card represents the ability to mute someone in-game.
"Search-Fu" Forum Card	Image Manipulation	The magnifying glass was obtained from the Puzzle Pirates forums.	This card represents the Search-Fu in-joke on the Puzzle Pirates forums. Attesmythe and Faulkston (the two names on the card) are/were experts at searching the forum.

This is a joke map made in response to another map with the U.S.A. owning Mexico. The ad slogan is on it because we were discussing that Absolut ad with Mexico owning part of the U.S.A. I'm not seriously planning to make this a reality.
Pelosi Magneto (With Slogan; Without Slogan)	Image Manipulation	RHJunior Forums	Magneto is copyright to Marvel Comics. Nancy Pelosi is copyright to herself.	Someone made a forum thread about how Nancy Pelosi's outstretched hand pose looked similar to Magneto's. Thus, I decided to combine the two in one image.
Storm-Artists.net Bug	Screenshot	Storm-Artists.net Forums	Storm-Artists.net belongs to themselves.	This is an image of a pretty nasty bug that occurred whenever a guest tried to view the FAQ. It has since been fixed.

Almost Lost 2	Screenshot	The game is copyright to Three Rings Design.	This image is pretty much the same as the one above, except there's only one person on each side. That, and we're both wearing Halloween masks in-game.

This is Captain Falcon getting ready to punch Ganondorf in the crotch. I don't have much else to say about this one, except it looks painful. This image came from the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

This is Marth getting ready to stab Ganondorf in the crotch. That looks even painful than the Awkward Punch image above. This image came from the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

This is an alternate version of the Awkward Stab image, but with less of the characters covered by special effects (and a different background, but that's not important). I may be getting rid of this one soon, since it's pretty similar to the first one. This image came from the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Broken Galaxy	Screenshot	The trial version of the Spore Creature Creator is copyright to Maxis and/or EA	For some reason, the trial version of the Spore Creature Creator gets graphical glitches on my computer every once in a while. If I go back to the main screen while it's doing this, then huge chunks of the galaxy will appear to be missing.
Fire Necklace	Photo	Link and Super Smash Bros. Brawl are copyright to Nintendo. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is also copyright to HAL Laboratory.	The ring of fire in this image is positioned in such a way as to look like a necklace for Link. I thought that looked cool, so I took a picture of it. This image came from the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Jump Punches	Photo	Mario, Luigi, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl are copyright to Nintendo. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is also copyright to HAL Laboratory.	Mario and Luigi are jump punching in such a way that you can rotate the picture 180 degrees and it will almost look similar. As for the stupid name, I couldn't think of any other name that wouldn't sound even more stupid. This image came from the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Middle of Nowhere	Screenshot	The game is copyright to Three Rings Design.	For some odd reason, the island I was on wasn't showing up on the island map. Don't worry, this usually doesn't happen.
My First Instakill	Screenshot	The game is copyright to Three Rings Design.	In the Swordfighting puzzle, an instakill is when your opponent sends you a sword large enough to cover the area where the pieces enter from. It's a little easier to understand if you see the image.
Porky Extermination	Photo	Mr. Game and Watch, Porky, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl are copyright to Nintendo. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (and maybe Porky) is also copyright to HAL Laboratory.	This is Mr. Game and Watch trying to exterminate the giant mechanical spider that holds Porky. Obviously, it's not working too well. This image came from the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
"Too Much Rum"	Image Manipulation	The game is copyright to Three Rings Design.	This is an image of a duty report, which tells how well or poorly all the people on the ship did at their job. Most of the people on this duty report did poorly, since it showed up soon after everyone started. Luckily, I didn't start my job soon enough to get on that duty report.

No Zombies Avatars (Version 1; (Version 2)	Image Manipulations	RHJunior Forums	The zombie images came from somewhere else, but I'm not sure where. The "No" symbol was taken from Paint Shop Pro.	Someone named Hyperion wanted an image of a No Smoking sign with zombies instead of smoking. He at first wanted a sign maker that could do that, but I just made these myself after neither of us could find one. He used version 1 in an avatar game, but it didn't win.
